Help me solve an SC mystery!
Does anyone recognize the orientation of the vacuum lines on my engine? Because it doesn't appear to be stock for a 92 sc400. Do I have a motor swap? Or maybe the emissions stuff changed to a later or california setup?
I noticed the other day while looking at the vacuum lines on my motor, that they don't match the vacuum line diagram sticker on the front underside of my hood. My sticker says it's a 92, 49 state federal car,
There are three ports for vacuum that come off the throttle body that should have vacuum lines attached according the sticker, but instead two of them are capped off.
So I went to the junkyard and found a 92 sc400 that has the same sticker as mine and it had all the correct vacuum lines and a different metal routing bracket for the vacuum lines in front of the intake than my car has.
But when I found a 94 LS400, it had the exact same vacuum routing as my engine with the same metal bracket for the vacuum hoses, but a different sticker. This 94 1uz had a sticker saying it is a california smog setup.
Any ideas?

Engine with 2 capped vacuum lines is California car. (California have different smog requirements) more likely your SC is a California car, Nevada is pretty near, but at one point in its life the hood must've been changed, possibly from a local junkyard due to a damage. Judging that your SC is red and the underpart of your hood looks beige/tan.

That picture of the underside of the hood is from another car with the same sticker as mine. My hood looks completely original. Same fading paint color and everything.
On the drivers side of my hood it has a sticker that confirms it's a federal car.
That's why I am wondering if the smog equipment was swapped, or it has a motor swap in it. I need to check the ECU again and see if it says CA or Federal.
Does anyone else know anything about the different vacuum routes?
I know the car was originally sold in Oregon from documents in the car.
