Thanks man! Trying my best to really fast-track this one, I know exactly how I want it to look & all the parts I need are easily accessible, I just wish I could say the same about cash at the moment lol

Yeah man ended up with 'em! Crazy cheap too so there was no second choice! I'm fair pleased with how the headlights turned out as well, but now I've been tempted by someone selling a crystal clear unmodified set for a bargain that's hard to refuse haha.

My D.Speed clear side indicators are now on their way from Japan, so should hopefully see them by early next week. Tonight I also fitted up the front lip, glued down the griffin badge & swapped in the glass high beams with some fresh globes:

Also found my old factory number plate holder from a previous soarer, so fitted that up as well:

Not much longer now & I'll get some half decent photos with a nicer backdrop other than my carport.

My D.Speed clear side indicators arrived today, took 3 days from Japan thanks to Jesse Streeter. Despite their hefty price tag I can honestly say they definitely are a favored cosmetic upgrade of mine, love the cleanliness they create.

In other news, I'm booked in this Thurs to have the center resonator & middle mufflers deleted, so watch out for a sample clip shortly.

A little update on the exhaust, my initial decision was to just keep it on the cheap side & to remove the middle mufflers & center resonator & then get some cash together towards the new year & do the entire system all at once. Anyway on the day it escalated into deleting all 4 mufflers (middle & rear) & replacing with dual 2 1/4" straight pipes from the resonator-back.

I could not be happier with the results. The tone is just gnarly! I reused my old muffler tips for now, I'm planning on fitting some 3" twin tips in the not so distant future. I'll also record & upload a short clip tomorrow morning to give an idea of what it sounds like.

Photo from an import meet today in Melbourne. As usual no other Soarers to be seen. I don't usually bring my unfinished cars to major meets but the weather was just too good!

Mike, like the changes you've made...small, but makes a BIG difference! Can't go wrong with the OEM front lip, even the original soarer license plate holder looks good! Thx for sharing mate!

Thanks for the kind words Steve! That was my plan from the beginning after seeing what worked for my last Soarer, got onto them quick so now I can focus on wheels, ride height etc. & further mechanical maintenance.

Still got some small exterior pieces to go but the majority out of the way!

The old factory muffler tips that I reused temporarily are rusted beyond belief on the inside & decently marked underneath so I just bought a pair of these nice 3" twin tips to replace them.

3" outlets & 2 1/4" inlet to fit straight on the rear pipes, the only challenge will be making them comfortably fit in the bumper cutouts.

I've also purchased a set of HIC window visors. Unfortunately I am missing the OEM passenger side visor so it was an easier option to settle for aftermarket instead.

Been a while since I've updated this thread, so I'll fast forward to now before diving into everything in between.

Where I'm at currently is going over my exhaust again for the last time or at least while the cars NA. I've uploaded a video before it goes in tomorrow to have a set of high flow cats & a custom X-pipe fitted.

Check it out here:

And a shot of the current system. As you can see it's nothing flash, but did help make 145rwkw once the headers were fitted on a particular dyno. Nice mid-range now too especially in conjunction with the Mine's ECU.

I'll shoot another video tomorrow once I get it back.
