Somebody should start a thread on cars with less than say 75,000. I'd be curious to know all the low mileage cars on here. I'm at 74,400.

^^^^^He's spot on with that one.

For me, my 92 SC 3 5spd had 219k when I sold it, and my 95 SC 3 5spd currently had 275k and still going strong. Maintenance and up keep is key! See if it was involved in any accidents, etc...Either way, good luck with your SC...I'd go over it with a fine tooth comb first!

Lastly welcome to CL, and a big shout to another Carolina member!

My 99' Has 230k+ and I just got home from a 120 mile drive. No issue runs like a champ. Did a tune up a few months ago no leaks or funny shifting trans. Only issues I am having now are misc, bushings and trans mount

Over 200k on mine. 2nd motor and 2nd tranny. Not the car's fault though! I got rid of the first motor because I injested some crap when my PCV hose broke, and I nicked the crank snout replacing the front seal. 1st tranny was auto, so I gave it away.

I've got 234k, couple little quarks here and there, mostly cosmetic but I wouldn't be afraid to drive across country tomorrow. Love my SC

I'd steer clear, if they replaced the motor at 175k it wasn't maintained right. The naturally apsirated 2JZ is pretty darn bulletproof if maintained(that includes scheduled timing belt/water pump replacements).

Since somebody asked earlier about low mileage SC's, my 92 SC300 with the 5 speed has 64k miles, runs/drives/looks like a 1 year old car.
