Default Every time I drive my sc someone always says....
I like that color what kind of car did it come from?
Or who did the paint job? Or even better the guys at the body shop telling me that it is not a factory color

8L5 RSP was the whole reason I waited 3 years almost for one to pop up for sale however it's like a broken record at this point and really gets old.

Any other RSP guys ever have this issue?

no one outside of the Toyota/Lexus world knows much about RSP guess that's what comes with such a rare color

Very true but for some reason people think the color is too new age for such an old car I suppose.

Haha, yep! I get asked all the time who did the paint and what car its from. Lately I just tell people that it was a Lexus paint job and it came on the SC300. Then I get dumb stares when they finally put the pieces together.

I also get the same questions about my Saffron Orange Volvo C70. Volvo's never came orange, that's just absurd!

Swedish Orange is actually a color (most people don't like it, but after a few cups of Glug it looks fantastic)

Nice Volvo! I'm actually in the market to buy a s60r in a month or two. I'm comparing it to the Subaru Legacy GT B spec as well. I need a more "adult" car as I'm 32 now and getting married on August 18th. I've looked at IS250/350's but they're too expensive.... even used.

I know how that goes. I had a WRB STi and I used to get asked constantly if it was a stock color. It got kind of annoying after a while lol. There is an older guy here with an RSP on black interior and he said he will never sell it.

The only thing I keep hearing still to this day, is that a Nissan?

I have had one guy asked me if it was turbo...
