Default Finally fixed my daughter's passenger door lock actuator - no parts required

I have fixed the door locks on the GS before and have a small stock of the little actuator motors. I expected to do the same type of thing on the SC4. The latch is totally different inside on the SC4. Anyway, it turns out there is a resistor inside the motor housing that went bad. It was getting really hot when the motor tried to spin - and it cracked when I tried to move it. I just bypassed it, we'll see what happens...

I tried searching and hadn't seen anyone else do this, but I'd expect these is a thread out there somewhere.
