This is an awesome write up.. Finally one that seems simple to do, and has no visible spots during the day or night. I say this is awesome...

Hmmmm. I wonder why the link doesn't work. Copying the link location and pasting it opens it up right.

What I meant to ask was did you use the same type LED's as I did, or did you find something better?

Update...

I should have used 4 sections (12 LED's) on the tach side also. After getting it installed, the temp gauge is a little dim

I bought the one's that have three prong LEDs sticking out of the central shaft of the bulb. I am not sure if they are the same ones that you used.

My friend originally put in some huge 12 LED ones originally that were white, but I went all blue, and couldn't find the corresponding ones with that many blue LEDs to replace them, so I went with the three LED ones.

Coincidentally I have some enormous 12 LED white bulbs for the instruments if any one in las vegas wants their gauges bright white. PM me and I'll gift them to you.

With these white 12 LED bulbs in the factory locations there was absolutely NO HOTSPOTS! Shocker!

That looks great!
I'll snap some pics of mine when I update it to color changing.

Here are some pics of my daughter's new (old) cluster. I realized after I installed it that I forgot to remove a couple of the old bulbs on the tach side which made hot discolored spots. I'll fix that later... The speedometer needle is the one I fixed. Yes, her car is pretty beat up
