Default Possible New Window Regulator/Motor

I own a 1995 Lexus SC400. I was a stop light yesterday and without touching the motor i heard a snap in the driver side door panel. I pressed the window button and the window will go down but it won't go back up. I doubt its the motor because I can still hear the motor working and the widow will go down. Has anyone had enough experience with this to clue me in whether I need to replace the window regulator or the window motor.

Mine is a 95 sc400 and I have the same problem. The bad part is that its cracked about 6 inches and won't go up or down. And what clip are you talking about wirelesstj?

Default Check first

I was told by the previous owner it was the regulator, he was told by a dealership so it wasnt his fault. My motor is "bad". There is a rubber bushing that connects the gear the motor drives to the regulator, my motor turns and spins but that bushing sheared in half so I am having a HARD time getting a good replacement. Definately see it, touch it feel it before you buy. its a very simple system but we have a motor that is very rare and not aftermarket.
