Thanks man I appreciate it a lot!!! I had a lot of fun and learned a ton with this and I'm definitely eager for more!
The reason I went JZ and specifically 1JZ is cause its cheap power and a huge aftermarket support to back it up. I love my v8 but I want to go into pro-am next year and keep up with 500hp+ 240's lol. Don't worry. Still going to make some sweet stuff come out of the 6 cylinder too
I have been offered the 350z 6 speed to 1jz option tho : )

Props to being a pioneer on the swap man, good job on having the initiative and drive to undertake it and make it all work.
I am a die hard V8 guy though, so I'm sad to see the sweet V8 exhaust note go. Why not swap a junk yard LSX motor in instead? It'll get you to your power goals

HELLO EVERYONE! I'm back!!!! Took a bit of a break from the car (still my daily driver) and drifting for a bit. Lost my job at Carmax last September and decided to get away for a while. Took about a 3 month break on life and just had the time of my life with friends.
In that time I ended up selling my 1JZ because I thought it would be better to go LSX instead
So that's the next goal for the car. However in the meantime the 1UZ is staying put.
This past weekend South Florida had a local venue open up at Three Palms Speedway in Port Charlotte! We had an amazing turnout and it's looking to be like a solid addition to Florida Drifting as well as a "home" spot for us local drivers. I'm extremely happy to have an event so close to home. Beats having to drive 2+hours to go to an event.
Car felt absolutely SOLID with the Battle Version rear arms, Inner/Outer Tie Rods with spacers and BravoMotorsports custom knuckles. This was my first event in over a year and my first with the new suspension setup.
I am super stoked to be back in the saddle and to be driving again with my friends. Nothing beats a good time at the track with friends and family!
Anyways here is my vid from the event. First run of the day. ENJOY!

Wow man this has been a great thread from start to finish. Gives me a lot of hope for my LS400. I am new to the drifting world. Love seeing people recycle old cars into beast mode drift ****s and still manage to drive the thing to work and home 6 days a week LOL.

Great build, How is the ride quality in your opinion on the megan coilovers? Also what are your wheel specs on those CR wheels. Ive had my eyes on a set of these for a while but I wasnt sure about the proper offset.
