Default Scca Drift day with my Sc300. first day.

Hey guys just wanted to share some pics from the drift event from yesterday. i took my sc300 out to see what i could do. my car is lowerd on espiler springs bone stock motor and open diff 5 speed. i went out there skeptical beacuse every one here said sc300 are hard to drift or to heavy and so on... but what do you know i love this car. yes i admit i was slightly underpowered to hold any thing to crazy but it got the job done. had a blast leard aloat and got some good drifting experience in. now that im hook on drifting after my first ride in my buddys 240. this car is going for more of a drift car. well here they are. oh and i got some g35 stocks for my dd wheels what do ya think.

my friends toyota pick up lol Stock 22re and weld diff.

here are some videos of other people

For the size these cars are actually great drift cars, with a good set of coils a welded diff and a good set of tires they drift amazing. With my knuckles and steering quickener mine goes to lock so quick and settles down so smooth like in drift, I should have classical music playing in there lol.

The stock motor in the sc3 has enough gogo mojo to get the job done on a total stock car with a welded diff. Id look into doing somthing with your diff next and see how easy the car is to toss around then.

yea im looking iin to coils now springs helped aloat but just not enough. and looking in to a diff welding its the way to go i guess but i just dont want to go through tires. and i cant afford a 1000 diff.
where can i read up on one of these steering quickener?

Check my build thread, I got mine from speedwaymotors.com it was a custom setup I did got rid of the whole stock column (thing weights alot). Mine is mounted to the dash bar on my cage, its a 2:1 ratio from center to lock either direction is roughly 2/3rd-3/4 of a full rotation and lock to lock is less than 2 turns on the stock rack, its freaky at first cause you turn alot more than normal but when you get used to it its a dream to have even more so with knuckles, id look into knuckles, rear end, and coils before a quickener IMO.

That lip is really nice. I actually have 2 sets of those G35 rims one set in chrome and the other in silver like yours.
