Not blaming you for anything bud

The price difference accounts for the extra features the BRZ comes with stock. Certain features that are not even available as an extra cost option if you were to purchase the Scion version.
That's my reasoning for calling it more "upscale."

After seeing the BRZ at the NY autoshow, I personally would never choose the Scion version over the BRZ especially since the price difference really isn't that drastic.

After this car? I'd rather keep it to finish restoring and possibly put in a GTE if it ever gets driven to Florida. I'm mostly happy with it. It's been the second best car I've owned.

Still... I'd replace it with:

Any 2005-2007 Subaru Legacy GT 5-speed with some BPU
Any 2004-2008 Subaru WRX 5-speed (or STI)

Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ

Genesis Coupe R-Spec 6-speed manual 2.0T with BPU

Possibly a 1998-2000 SC400 with the explicit intention of doing an R154 conversion and a rear end swap to a slightly more aggressive ratio.

But I doubt it on the last one when I already have an SC that I've done this much work to.

Lately I've been thinking about getting an FD RX-7 with an LS1/2JZ-GTE swap. They're like half the size of the SC so I'm not too sure how comfortable it will be.

I might just stick with an LS430 or get an S600.

I probably won't even make it to the SC stage, considering at the moment, I'm saving up for an 2005 Pontiac GTO.

I cant emphasize this enough, especially since my SC was my early grad gift.
But If I were able to get another car, it would have to be the RX-7 FC GTU or GTX.

Hence the name on my username...

My last car was an e39 and honestly I'd love to get an e39 wagon with the m trim accessories.
Was a very fun car to drive, handled extremely well and was really stable at speed, better gas mileage and the interior was way more comfortable. I just paid for it with excessive maintenance bills, and back then I worked at the BMW dealership and got a major discount on parts and did most of it myself... but I still could barely afford it.

I'm not trying to be a beamer fanboy, but that was the perfect car when it comes to 4 door sedans and wagons. I managed to pull it up to 145 before it started feeling a little squirrely on the road, that car is just solid as a rock at 100+. While the SC is a little jittery at 95+ but not too unstable that I'd be worried.

I love the SC though, almost bought one instead of the e39, but I could find a stick and my bud was talking bad about them and I found the perfect e39 wagon at the perfect price, so the saga was put on hold for 3 years. Until now, I really love this car, nothing compares when it comes to style, durability, and sex appeal. This car just screams suave, and that'll be hard to replace. Plus parts are cheaper, and this car breaks a lot less often.

So if I was in full control I'd have an Sc300 as a weekend car, e39 m-spec wagon for the work week and a Chevy Trailblazer with a wall of 18 inch subs running off 6000 watts for when I just had to shake the block down. But I don't think I could afford to daily drive a 12 year old BMW, and I don't think I'd really want to try and afford that again.

My brother has an 05 CL65 AMG and yes, there is nothing like 740 tq -- half again more than a Viper and made from 2-4k rpm. The 605hp is almost an afterthought. Right now it's got the stickiest non-track tires I could find in 19 inch -- Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 -- and it is still traction limited until 70+ mph. The average person never gives it a second glance in traffic

KahnBB6 - My last car :

05 Legacy GT w/ FP HTA Green turbo (between GT30 and GT35R) , all the supporting mods, and of course the bumper cover went back on. I'm finished with turbo 4 cylinders though. From now on if I have boost it will have displacement to go with it.

Another car that's not an SC? Well I think once I'm done putting major money into the SC, I'll put some into my IS300. Otherwise I think I'll eventually get a truck of some sort. As future cars go, I'd like a nice Evo, IS-F, 350z/370z, and something old to restore. There's many other cars I'd like. I think I'd end up something like Jay Leno with cars. Lol

Honestly though, I'd put money into a nice garage/tools/lifts/ect before I'd start buying more cars.
