Windows wont roll down... Help!!! (found issue)
edit: wiring between the body and door were cut, two of them... fixed the window issue
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the windows... it started off the windows would only roll down when the doors are closed (cant really remember if that was normal)... now they wont roll down at all!!!!! The lights turn on in the switch and all other functions of the driver side switch work as normal... when you press the window switches on driver side there is a buzz sound at the switch but no movement, and pressing the passenger side, there is no response at all... Sunroof works fine so im assuming there not connected in any way
also my yellow oil temp light stays on and coolant temp shoots all the way up as soon as car is turned on...
im assuming the sensor is bad for the oil light... and tried to bleed coolant system with no success
main problem right now is the windows cause it is HOTTTT!!!!!!! monitoring coolant temp with AEM EMS and check oil before and after every drive... by the way this all began after Aristo swap
any insight would be appreciated

I currently have to close the drivers door several times before EITHER of my windows will roll down ( 94 sc300) I tried simulating the door closing with a screw driver shaft in the latch on the door but all could do was get the door open indicator to turn off. I am afraid that one day my windows will roll down --but not back up . It has to be electrical because it affects both drive and passenger windows. I did not see the cut wires or boot that you have in your pictures.
Does the door have to be closed before the windows will run???
UPDATE --4/11/2012 The doors do not have to be closed to roll the windows up and down but the BLUE wire needs to not be cut. Thanks to the original poster on this thread. I cut the rubber boot and had a wire cut exactly where the pictures show on this original thread. A little solder, a short wire and some heat shrink and my windows roll down. Apparantly the wire would touch with the door closed and would not with the door open--had nothing to do with the door closed switch.
