Want a Top Secret style hood for your SC?
Well..... Here is your chance.
In another thread, a vendor (Extreme Dimensions) said that if we can get atleast 20 people that are interested in a top secret style/like hood for the SC platform then they’d produce them. They asked me to help them by getting a thread started, so here it is…
I know for a fact that there are atleast 20 people that would take one, so if you want one speak up! Lets show them that there is a demand for this hood; I know for a fact that Ive wanted this style for over a year. Just to clarify, there is not a whole lot of specifics as of right now, this is to gauge interest. I don’t know what different materials will be available, what the cost is or how many will actually be made. That’s up to the vendor, which will/can fill in the blanks if this becomes more serious than a feeler.

Duraflex Hood: $599 MSRP
16+ Buyers:
Carbon Creations Hood: $479.40 + Shipping
Duraflex Hood: $359.40 + Shipping
Average cost for freight shipping in the Continental US: $155.00
Oh ya and to make it easier to afford, we will only need 50% of the final purchase price + shipping, then the other 50% will be due once the parts actually come in. The whole project will take about 6-8 months, since it has to be custom made we need to pick up an OEM hood and cut into it.

Looks like this list keeps growing every day, I hope its accurate though. Granted people that are saying they need to see if before the purchase won't be eligible for the Group Buy price. Also, are most of you aiming towards the Carbon Creations version or the Duraflex version?

I dont see why, Im not selling anything. Im seeing if anyone is interested in a company making a specific hood..... I dont see the issue. Im pretty sure I have seen numerous people do it.

As for the rear lip, you never know. Maybe the next time I take the lip off.
They sell both fiberglass and carbon products, hopefully both being options for this hood.

Just chiming in here gents/ladies.. I don't have time to make new interest threads right now, we're in the process of launching a lot of new highline applications, Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley, etc etc. I approve this thread and if its okay with the mods I want g-magoo to keep this going with a list of people who are interested. Thanks!

I guess if anyone is actually serious or would like to see this made lmk, Ill get a list started and add you too it. With 16+ buyers it could be a great deal on something that isnt available anymore.
