the problem with new parts for the SC, is barely anyone will buy them even if they say they will in these threads... its depressing really. i just read through these than, after the parts made its a struggle to sell.

just sayin...

Add this to the OP..

Carbon Creations Hood: $799 MSRP
Duraflex Hood: $599 MSRP

16+ Buyers:
Carbon Creations Hood: $479.40 + Shipping
Duraflex Hood: $359.40 + Shipping

Average cost for freight shipping in the Continental US: $155.00

Oh ya and to make it easier to afford, we will only need 50% of the final purchase price + shipping, then the other 50% will be due once the parts actually come in. The whole project will take about 6-8 months, since it has to be custom made we need to pick up an OEM hood and cut into it.

cool beans, thanks for the clarification.

is this hood going to be exactly the same as the top secret one? i don't much care for those angled vents at the top, i think it'd look better with just the main vents going in line with the car. just my two cents.

I agree, not a fan of those two upper openings. But, whatever you guys want.

Definitely interested in a Top Secret style hood for the SC. Those angled vents are meant to provide air intake for your big turbo, if you got one. VIS Racing's similar hood comes without those vents - the reason I had to return it back to them 7 months ago during my Supra project.
