Updates on my car: clutch, new headlights, taillights....
Hey guys it has been a long time since I have posted any updates on my car. I still lurk the forums daily of course though. Recently bought and installed brand new headlights, 9006k HID's on the low beams, 3000k HID's on the fog lights (no pics), '97-'00 taillights, CenterForce Dual Friction clutch, Fidanza lightweight flywheel, brand new floor mats, brand new shift boot and bezel, also just got in (not installed yet though) my Daizen steering rack bushings. Enough talk, I know you guys love pictures so here we go.
New Headlights and gaskets.
Quite a difference.
6000k HID kit
HID's with old headlights
HID's with new headlights
A little hard to tell but new floor mats and shift boot and bezel.
'95 tails removed.
New tails installed, much better.
Another shot.
Onto the clutch job.
Shift boot and bezel removed.
Shifter assembly removed.
Exhaust removed.
Driveshaft removed.
Transmission out.
A little brake parts cleaner will help make this look nicer.
Fidanza Flywheel
12.5 lbs

Center Force Dual Friction. Feels almost like stock, so smooth, and holds a decent amount of power.
Gotta have it.
Clutch is in.
Time to bolt everything back together and fill her up!
Just got these in. I guess Daizen is good to go now. I know that there have been issues in the past but it took 5 days for me to receive these. I can't wait to install these and see the difference!

I ordered them from Pembroke Pines Lexus. I ordered them for a 2000 model. I got a really good deal on them. I mean still expensive but the cheapest that I could find. I'm not sure if the price is still the same though. I paid around $289 for each headlight not including new gaskets. Love your car, btw man

I think I might have thrown away my receipt from them. I can't find them right now. Unfortunately, I believe that prices might have jumped up. Look around different dealerships. Also try Sewell Lexus parts, because I know they give a discount if you are a Club Lexus member.

Thanks guys!
Transmission is the factory w58. Headlights were well worth every penny. I was fed up with messing with my old ones. You don't even want to know what the price is now for them. I lucked out.
I got the floor mats from Sewell Lexus parts. I got them awhile ago. They are actually for a '97+ model because all earlier models at the time were discontinued. So fitment isn't 100% perfect but pretty darn close. Unfortunately it looks like they are all discontinued now.
