i was working on my car and i basically locked my keys in side, they're on my damn passengers seat -_____-
one of my door panels is gutted so i tried to make like a loop type thing with a hanger but no luck. my battery is also deaaaaad. any suggestions

I don't see how that makes sense cause you move the tumblers which then lets you turn the key. The turning action is what unlocks the car right?
So why the hell if you just make the tumblers move, it would just instantly make your car unlock....
When you think about it, if you put your key straight in and did not turn it, it would have the same effect,
I know on my old Hyundai there is no way the door would come unlocked with out something moving the rod that unlocks the lock mechanism.
I would think it would be such a laugh to watch someone try that on my car.

Very simple. DIY as follows:
1- Pick up brick
2- Throw brick at windshield
3- Retrieve keys.
If there are still difficulties repeat step 2 until all obstacles are gone. I am not responsible for damages due to inappropriate usage of a brick including but not limited to breaking of glass, damaging car body, being arrested for any related reasons. Good luck ^_^
On a more serious note call AAA or pop-a-lock.

When I called AAA they referred me to a tow truck. The tow truck later came with an air wedge to make a gap in the door and then they used this wire thing to unlock the door from the switch inside. They tried to press it and immediately open the door because the security in a lot of cars often lock back when you press it.

I work for AAA here in charleston south carolina and unlock cars all day long. On our sc cars you need to open the top corner of the door and use a L shaped rod to pull the door lock mech, by the int door handle, if the battery is charged you have to pull the ext. handle at the same time that the int door lock mech is in the unlocked position, the alarm will try to return the door lock mech to the locked position, if the battery is dead the door lock mech will stay in the unlocked position.
As far as the keys in the truck, you are screwed if you have the botton pushed in by the int trunk switch,so leave that button out in the unlocked position,

I hate when something like this happens. I had my key locked up in the trunk and i had to make a big trip from home to the parking lot just to open the trunk since the lock mechanism in the trunk was pushed in.

welp thanks for all the help guys. i finally got them yesterday. took some skill lol. since my driver door panel was gutted i got a "hoojed" coat hanger in and i managed to grab the unlock/lock cord type thing thank god it was long enough to barely come out the door so i had it squished inbetween the door. then i got another hanger and managed to get the door op/close cord type thing, i hooked it at the end and carefully got the little metal end piece (idk if any of you seen the door panel gutted, if so you know what im talking ab out) and pam it opened. thanks again yall.
