Help Me Pick Out Some New Wheels
I can't decide which ones I want. Im not really a fan of the fake rivets along the outer edge but these are still sexy. Im really leaning towards the Indy 500 or the Stowe but Im still having a really hard time deciding.
Oh and if you can't tell, I think TSW's are my favorite wheels
So what do you guys think? I haven't been able to find any pics of SC's with TSW except 1 and the were chrome, so if any one has any pics I'd really appreciate it
Also, something should really be done with that wheels and tires fitment thread. It's almost 300 pages of just a giant convoluted mess of chaos. So can someone just answer this instead of telling me to go check that thread? How much of an offset do I need so that the wheels and tires sit perfectly flush with the body with 17x8 w/ 245/45/17 Front and 17x8 w/ 275/40/17 Rear? No camber or weird tire stretches, just "nice n' flush".
Thanks
Stowe
Indy 500
Cadwell
Vairano
Jarama
Mondello

So by all means, if you think there's something else that I might like better, show me
But before you do, just know, that I can't stand XXR's and Works and I personally think that spending more that $400 on a set of wheels is absurd, but like I said, I figure what the hell

From that list i would say go for the Indy wheels. But, im looking for wheels too and im thinking about getting Lumarai Morro wheels. they are made by TSW but engeneered for lexus. Im torn between 17 and 18 though. Id love to see what these weeks look like on our cars in 17.

you would need around 10+ offset wheels to make them flush. maybe less
ruff racing makes some cheap wheels with lip and your spoke count.

I do really like the Vortex's, along with the rivage and montage but I also really like the look of lipped wheels which is why chose the wheels I did.

sorry man i didnt realize you were trying not to spend much money on the wheels, in that case they dont look bad at all for the price.
my vote would be the vairano's if i had to pick one .
And if your asking why I dont particularly like them its not that they are ugly or cheap or anything like that , its just if im going to buy aftermarket wheels I am the type of person that would want something that is going to turn a few heads or really add to the look of my car.
Im not rich either so I dont have high end wheels right now but I think if you look around , e-bay, craigslist etc... you can really find a nice set at an affrodable price, especially if u go used.
Anyways keep us posted on whichever way you go.
