Default Supra Super White or Lexus Pearl White?

Hello everyone. I was just wondering what you would rather have. I know I'm gonna paint my 93 SC400 white. I'm just debating which white would be better. I have pearl white right now and I'm not completely digging it. I saw a newer SC with a different kind of pearl white paint job and I wouldn't mind that. It's just that the 93's pearl just kind of makes it look like it's always dirty even when I wash it. I figured maybe Supra Super White would be better. Opinions?

The Supra white color is the base coat for the pearl paint. Your paint is most likely oxidized which is why it looks bad.

consider this, my soarer is pearl white and I like it, then again it is a 92 and has fadded over the years, when I repainted it the same colour, it was beautifu, had that supra white with the shine. My friend has a supra snow white, its really nice but the pearl adds the touch of luxury exotic to it. I would say pearl white for the win but then again its your car, your choice , your taste.Good luck on the decision. Hope this helped.

Oh okay, I didn't know that the white is the base coat for the pearl paint.

Vince, I think it's a perfect color match I never noticed the difference between the bumper and the body, maybe because I see a tire grime on it most of the time

Pearl white 3 stage paint job regular white single stage the newer sc should be the same color. Yours is just old. 3three stage paint will always looks better its more expensive and harder to match if you need to repaint a panel.2nd gen IS pearl whites are really nice too glacier frost mica is very cool color imo

Just look at the pictures of my build thread of the color difference from original pearl white and the new. The bumpers are much harder to get correct. Look at the camrys on the road, all the bumpers are just about always faded. Good luck in your choice. I say pearl white.
