Thanks guys! I do think it is a big improvement over what I had before, and yes, it needs to be lowered, and maybe some spacers are in order to. I will update as I make more progress. Thanks again for the kind words.

I will eventually, this is not my daily driver so I have plenty of time to find new wheels and tires. Thinking about keeping these for auto-X or lapping days, and I would like to pick up some G35 wheels with some less aggressive summer tires to drive on everyday. Or I may pick up some Enkei NT03 wheels from work and use the 245's for the front and get some wider tires for the rears. Race takeoffs are very cheap locally as we have Miller Motorsports Park near by and everyone grabs the good takeoffs and sells them for super cheap.

Thanks,
Rick

Clearly, it is time for me to move near a track! Are you taking requests?
Big improvement on the new rims.

Yeah still trying to decide what I want for suspension, I'm in no rush so I will take some time and do some research. I picked up the wheels and tires locally here for 500.00 which is not a killer deal, but I feel it was very fair for the condition of the wheels and tires.

Thanks guys!
Rick

No, actually it is as easy as installing a stock steering wheel. You will just want to buy an airbag from a early year IS300, 2001-05 if I remember correctly, and then you just buy the air bag harness adapter.

I found my IS3 steering wheel and airbag on Ebay for about 225 shipped for both. If you want to use the IS300 cruise control, I did a write up on the wiring, which you can find here:

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Rick
