Default We're off to do the dorifto! (Spin ****/drift **** sc300)

On a serious note. I have searched everywhere. Even on the forums and haven't found any useful info on where to get a spin/drift **** for my sc300's e-brake. I want to take it out on those rainy days when my buddy gets his 240sx fixed up instead of ragging out on the clutch. Could anyone point me in a useful direction to get one for the sc300? Maybe even pics/proof of other sc's that have spin/drift ***** from other cars fitted onto theirs with little to no fab/modding.

Any help is really appreciated..!

I have one and have no idea how to get it to work... Is it literally just push on?

On YouTube I saw a video of a 240sx install and they had to take some springs out but from my understanding it's different for every car. Sorry for my super noob question.

I installed one on my old 240, basically you just remove the e-brake handle cover, there will be a bent in tab that locks the spring in place, you bend that out so it no longer holds the spring, replace the handle cover, slide the spin turn **** over the thumb tip of the lever, push hard until it seats in place, and then you should be able to pull it out for e-brake lock, or push it in to keep the e-brake from locking up. I have never looked at our E-brake assembly, but I have to imagine the locking mechanism would be the same or similar, and as long as the diameter is the same as other cars, you can use their spin turn *****.

Thanks,
Rick

Yeah, I wanted to know specifically if there is one made for our sc300s or what other model car would fit on the sc? The problem is most of these ***** dont come with specs on size. It's just fit and go. Anyone with some insight? I saw ill roller had one installed on his sc but he never mentioned what it was

I was looking into the japanese brands (cusco, etc) but I don't want to spend $50 after shipping for a spin ****.. I'll try my luck with some cheap toyota spin *****.

you remove the button from your ebrake handle you have now but un screwing it using a pair of pliers. You then remove the spring in there and screw on the spin turn ****.

Done.

Man, thats a cool looking interior you have.
Do you have one of the spin turn ***** that slide over the OEM ones?
If so, how do you get it to stay there and not fall out with the OEM removed?

I just installed on I had lying around, i forgot what type of car its from. It fit snugly over the OEM ebrake button (had to push it on hard) but it does not create friction/rub against the ebrake cover. Should it? It seems like without the ebrake button return spring, it might be able to move in and out on its own just from the car bouncing around. and is there any other way to disable the ebrake return spring without taking the oem button out?

sorry for the general spin turn **** questions, Ive never used one before.
Thanks

No. The slide over ones i found to be kind of sketchy. Mine replaces the button by threading onto the shaft the oem button thread onto. This way i still can lock my ebrake in place by pulling out on the **** when the ebrake is up

these are the threaded type right?

it looks like it replaces the stock button totally vs. sliding over it
