Back before I lowered my car and put on the Supra wheels. Roof rack is definitely the way to go because even the BEST trunk racks will scratch the paint on your bumper unless you wipe it down and stick some sort of film between the rubber pads and the paint. Can't prevent dust/dirt/sand from getting in between the rubber and bumper no matter what you do.
Hmm... I've been trying to figure out how to carry my bike on my SC as well for quite some time now... loks good, but I'm not sure I'd do the roof thing myself.
I have the same roof rack, I just tried putting it on my car sc I took it off my HONDA that im selling with an h22 swap. I cant figure out how to put in on the lex though, I may sell it too.

You have to replace your Q clips from the ones that fit your Honda to the Q14 clips that fit the Lexus. As long as your bars are the 48" wide bars, it will work since the brackets are universal.

How have I not seen this thread yet? I ride a Scott Voltage and another Scott dj bike for around the streets. I'm dying for a Yakima rack, I'm really tired of stuffing the frame and tires in the back seat, plus the Yakima rack looks really clean on the SC. Your cars with racks all look good.
