I don't think they look bad on that color car. They beat the hell out of the giant yellow-orange bat signals that 92s came with. I had one smashed light on the car when I bought it and I wasn't about to pay hundreds of dollars for used 15 year old lights from another car.
$100 bought me the "Prelude" clones and I'm fine with it.
Plenty of luxury cars come with red/clear lighting in back. It's not like the blinkers don't light in yellow. If I had chopped up a few sets of stockers to achieve the same look it would be praised. Because this is clear instead of frosted plastic, it gets bashed.
Tough.
BTW, if anyone wants a drivers side stock 92 brake light assembly, $50 shipped and it's yours!

So yeah. If you don't mind running $100 eBay specials, then don't get all upset if someone says they're ugly.
They're ugly.

If you go on eBay right now, you could get a pair of OEM SC300 taillights for about $200. Granted they're used, but at least they're OEM... not some wanna-be Supra/Prelude looking things that have styling you'd usually see on some "ricer" Honda.
