Default I'm going to try CLR on the driving lights

I had a buddy with discolored driving lights that poured CLR into them and it cleared the discoloration up removing deposits from the inside. I'm gonna give that a whack and if it works polish the outsides and should look pretty good.

Will report back on the after effects when done. Won't be tonight...... Getting dark and friggin cold out. Wish it weren't such a PITA to get to the back of them.

that's what he's referring to....

technically they are the "cornering" lights but I'm sure he has likely converted them to driving/fog lights already...

i think his car is a 95 or 96 which would make those fog lights not corner lights like the 92-94

clean sc btw

Those are actual fog lights his SC. The 92-94's had cornering lights and 95-96 had true fog lights. They both look very similar.

The new guys are always fun. 95-96 are always easily distinguishable by the line that runs through the middle of the driving light.

I ended up cleaning my conering lights with 3Ms headlight restore. Did a decent job on it, then I just tinted them yellow with Yellow Krylon Stained Glass Paint.

I've been through alot with my SC. On my own. No shop did it for me. When you see posts by OLT about common SC problems, I fixed each and everyone of it, again on my own. Nobody helped me.

That's why my SC still looks the same as when I first got it, 'cause unlike people who spend thousands on accessories and appearance, I spent thousands on fixing and repairing my SC's problems.

I guess what I'm saying is being a member on here isn't about how long you've been here but your dedication and hard work you can contribute to the community.

I wish it weren't such a damn pain to get them out. the 97 fogs are easier thanks to the open holes by them. You can just go in the front for screw access.
