Before laying the carbon on the Panel be sure the panel is black. Since you are only doing 1 layer of carbon. If the weave shifts and your panel is red. You will see it.

Second thing, again before laying your carbon, put some epoxy to and let it dry to tack. By doing so, it will be much easier getting the fiber to stick once u get it down.trust me it makes 100% difference.

Good luck, there are also plenty of "laminating" tutorials on YouTube.
