No way these are SC/Soarer rear seats. They fold down to expose the gas tank in all it's glory? I don't think so. The rear seat cushions are about three times as thick as SC400 rear seat cushions as well, which puts the backseat passenger's head through the roof.

My guess is that these seats came out of a Toyota/Lexus SUV.

hmm strange, where did you notice it could fold? The kind of look like the front ones, the way it is stitched. Maybe some of the soarer owners could show us some pics of their rear?

i don't think my rear seats look like that...ours are more like bucket seats in back...

It looks folded down slightly in that picture. Also, what's that chunk popping out in the middle of the rear seats? I mistook that for a swivel joint at first. Maybe it's just the crates propping it up in the background, I dunno...

I just looked at a JDM Soarer rear seat and it looks to be the same so I guess I was wrong .

They are JDM. I think the headrest are electric as well

No way in hell are those Soarer seats (the ones on sale at eBay...). Here's the real JDM-spec seats...

i saw those too on eBay! hehe, but i don't think those are JDM seats from Japan. Those are for the LS400. I have a 96 sitting in the garage and they look identical.

If you take a look at the rear seat... notice how much "cushion" and leather there is. there is no way that it will fit the SC. If you've ever taken your rear seat out, you'll know what i'm talking about.

Also, look at the fold down arm rest... that's just like what my parent's 96 LS has!

I'd rather just get a pair of soarer cloth seats, no cracking, fading or anything else to worry about.
