Talking So now, I wait.

*Update* After a few long hours, the car passed the maintenance and I took her off the lot.
This was truly the best buy of my life. I shall post pics once I'm able to log onto a computer.

*Update 2* Here she is

She's beautiful, ain't she? (Sorry about the size, my phone made them huge)

I am buying the car from a used car dealer, but I brought it to the local Lexus dealer to get the 27-point maintenance. This is gonna be a long hour and a half but if I get the thumbs up from Lexus then the car is mine and my frantic search is over. So CL, wish me luck in hope of the car being worthy of buying. I'll edit this post when I get my results
Premature postulation.

So update, ...tun tun tun....I bought it
Car went through inspection and even Lexus was surprised of how good the condition of the car was!
Only slight downs, the timing belt will need changing (eventually) and the motor mounts are bad, but I negotiated the price down of the car

I'll post pics of the car as soon as I get to charge my phone, which won't be till tonight.

Timing belt doesn't need changing until it needs changing........ when it's in two pieces. Good old Yota.........

That logic is airtight on a non-VVT-i, non-interference 2JZ.

Not in this case.

That logic was airtight before he posted the pictures HOURS after that post in which you don't see a year.

.......but that belt still isn't gonna break before 200k.

Simply don't want the OP to receive the wrong message. If anything, the water pump will go before the belt.
