Welcome to the club.
I'm kinda interested in said about replacing the sub. I have spent a lot of time exploring similar options, but came to the conclusion that there simply isn't enough room between the rear deck and the gas tank for properly sized boxes. Maybe if a custom fiberglass enclosure is made, but keep in mind that the fuel filler pipe leaves little room on one side. I never spent the time to measure and calculate the volume of space, but it's not much. As far as putting a single 12" in the deck I'm pretty sure it won't fit. I barely could fit my 10", but if you have a way then I'm all ears.
Now let's see some of those pics.

Also, I dont mind to cut out the rear deck to put in a 12. I love the way the mid and highs sound, but that sub just isnt cutting it! lol

Check the audio section as Luin said. He appears to be trying the full mod method of fitting in some bigger subs. Others (such as myself) have gone up to a JL Audio IB4, or Elemental Designs 10" that work and fit great with minor modifications.

Well I got my SC300 back and between it raining all day and not getting washed in 4 days it looked like crap!!
So here are some crappy pictures. Once it clears up I will clean her up nicely and take some better pictures. The following was taken with my cell phone and I played around with um in photoshop. Enjoy.... btw, when I get a chance im going back to that night place with a better camera.

Another damn noob...**PICS**
Relatively new to the car too... super clean '97 SC400. I've had it for like 2 months, and plan to have it for a long time to come. Here's some pics...

Yeah man, I tried to get out that Sunday for that ride to Tortilla Flats. Just had too much to do that day. I'll catch up sometime. I was checking the forums out because I'm putting in the Daizen camber kit in the front and back and was checking around for fender rolling info. You think I should just rent an Eastwood and heat gun? Does that dude you were telling me about roll them or cut them?

Thanks!! They do fit well, no rubbing. But the tires last about 10k due to the camber. The car is in pieces in my garage right now correcting it as much as possible. I will tell you this though, it handles very very nicely with the camber it has right now.
