Default New guy here!!

Aloha everyone!

My names Joe and I'm from Hawaii and starting tomorrow I will be a proud member of the SC fam!! I'm picking up a 95 SC300 for what I think is a steal. Albeit there are some issues I need to fix before she's road worthy, I'm stoked to build my first Toyota/Lexus beauty. As I'm new to Toyota/Lexus, I will probably have a fair amount of questions and brain picking in the future so please be gentle with the tongue lashings haha. Anyways here are some pics of the car.

Hey guys and gals,
Just picked up a 1992 Spruce Grey SC300. Needs a little body work but has a solid engine, time to start bringin her back to her former glory. Has a factory five speed which I've heard is very rare with these cars. Thinking of maybe an NA-T conversion for it after she's nursed back to health.

Default Return to The "DarkSide"

What's Happening,

I'm not necessarily a new member, I had a sc400 awhile back and sold it due to stress and poor income situations! After hard work and patients, I've returned to the Toyota/Lexus genre an I'm more than excited to be back!

My current project:
1992 Sc300 original 5speed

It's a project in itself, needs interior which I have and engine needs some tlc as far as basic maintenance but it's a great starting basis! So far I've had the clutch installed and w58 rebuilt so that's where I'm at now just waiting to drive the car for the 1st time!

Default I have no idea how I ended up here

Howdy y'all. The name is Tre and I've just purchased my first Lexus in the form of a slightly rough 92 auto SC300. Bought her for a good price as a daily next to my 99 Mustang GT. I love the car and the platform as a whole. This car was way head of it's time and I cant get over the quality of everything. Won't be seeing any major mods anytime soon but I'll spiffy this thing up nice. Glad to be part of a forum again! Haven't done this since my DSM days.

Default New here

Hey l, My name is justice and I just bought my 1995 5 speed manual Sc300 a week ago. Ever since then I've been on this site just simply learning. And so far i've seen the community is helpful and resourceful. Anyway, my car is a 95 manual with a NA 2jz-ge with only 92,800 miles on it. And it's a beauty. Since I sold my old car looking for a better rwd sports coupe. I looked at Sc's and they are quite the fun box with a magical motor under the hood. Anyway I picked it up a few days ago near Rocklin California (where I live close bye) for only $5800. And I know these cars go for a lot. And I figured it was a steal since it's a clean title, had under 100,000, and has new parts like magnaflow mufflers and an injen intake. It runs very nicely and I can't wait to start building it to my taste. Thanks for reading
-Justice

By the way it has a Porsche Grey-Black paint job.

hi CL guys. my name is mike, and i've been around cars for years for mild builds to corner balancing suspensions. gracelessly i've own a variety of cars from plenty of civics, crx, mr2, and now on my second sc platform (all where money pits lol) recent sold my fully forged supercharged civic and picked up another sc as a vacation car when i visit FL, but with plans on taking this build to the next level

so far it has
cusco zero 2 coilovers
zeek strut bar
DM 6262 kit
auto TT lsd
usdm 550cc
trust exhaust

would definitely like to gain more knowledge from forum members about the sc platform.

man i really need to get some new wheels...please excuse the dirtiness. she doesn't get to see alot of miles just yet

Default Joined up because just helped my son buy a 98 SC300

He is very proud of his new ride.

It's a 98 Black on Black SC300 with 170k miles on it. So I am going to do some reading on this forum to see what is the story with these. Looks like they will carry alot of tire on them.

First order for us is do the brake pads, they are pretty thin.

Cheers

It never ceases to amaze me how many 92-95 SC400s people still find with super low miles out there...

The cars were just never driven by the first owners.
