Hi guys, I don't have a lot of time to work on the car or to drive it to see what needs fixing, but out of nowhere, my hazzard lights, speedometer, rpm gauge stopped working + the needles don't light up. Could all that be from the fuses? I bought new ones, just don't have time to change them. Most of the lights on the buttons on the radio and all other controls around the shifter are pretty dimmed, is there a way to adjust the brightness like on the dashboard, or is it the lights?

Default Introduction- New SC400 owner

Hello Everyone, My name is Colt. I purchased a Bordeaux Pearl 97 SC400 about 3 months ago. I have been trolling the forums the last few months but now have decided to become a member.

The previous owner owned the car for the last 8 years being the 2nd owner . The PO was great about taking care of the car cosmetically but maintenance was oil changes, wiper blades, and tires. Yep that basically it haha. Before I did absolutely anything to the car aftermarket wise I took it to the Local Lexus dealer and had all maintenance brought up to date including TB and water pump. I believe there is no point to modding a car without reliablity being the number 1 objective. The only things I have done to the car is Window tint (%20) , delete rear resonators, 5000k Xenon kit, and as of yesteday 8-23-14 I put on my Replica ISF Snowflakes 18x8 +40 with a 225/45/18 tire to help maintain ride quality. I haven't decided if i want to lower the car yet but If i do it will only probably be about 1" Future mods, upgrade brakes, Roof lip soiler (On the fence about it.), paint calipers , and install caliper Lexus logo decals.

I'm in the Downtown Nashville,TN area but hope to see/meet fellow CL members.

Below are pictures in order of the First day I bought the car to the Before and After Pictures of the new wheels install yesterday.

Thanks for the Love and Welcomes Fellas. The color had to grow on me at first but after a while I'm glad I got it. The old wheels are awesome , but after looking at and IS-F I fell in love with the wheels and had to have them haha. Biddles if I sell the wheels you'll be the first to know.

As mentioned in the intro I had planned on doing a roof spoiler , I love it. Not to big or small just a nice lip! Got it back from paint and slapped it on, Here's some quick pics.

Looking good! You should create a "build thread" and note your progress.

Nice find, and welcome. Be sure to get your timing belt done too if it hasnt been done yet. And as everyone else stated, the color is excellent. Aside from the RSP, I think this is the best looking factory color.

I'm starting to really like that rear roof spoiler!

Make a build thread, it's such a neat car you've got here!

What's Club Lexus,

Picked up my sc300 about a month ago. Traded it for my 79 corolla. But I'm starting to get over it. I'm enjoying the car. I can finally find parts for a car that don't have to be custom made.
