Sup guys!
My name is Chris.
I'm actually from NC, but they (Marines) got me down here in Okinawa Japan.
So yea, I just bought an SC back in the states. I finally found a clean one that i liked along with a 1jz.
I've actually been an owner of a 1jz mkiii supra, so i finally figured i'd get back to my toyota roots. Anyway, i think thats enough chatting and more pics!
Heres some pics of my old mkiii:
of course the new lex:

Hello! Finally have an active account and glad to be part of the community!
I've had my 1995 SC400 since Aug. 2005 when it had only 15K miles on it. Yes, it was a sleeper in some old guy's garage. Absolutely pristine. 5+ years later I've hit around 52K miles and have had two unfortunately mishaps since I got it. Guy backed into me, his hitch went through my bumper. Last month a guy ran a red and swiped my front bumper taking with it the driver's headlight and shattering the bumper. Not going to be fun to fix. Sad it happened. This thing was mint. Just a car though, right?!
Anyway, that's the story. Hope to find all sorts of good information on here as I put her back together and possibly tweak her in the future. Thanks in advance!

Been here a while but now I actually own a Lexus.
My name is Jason, I live in Mishawaka, IN. My screen-name is usually tuner4life on every other forum I am on (celicatech.com, saablink.net, volvoforums.com, jdmchicago.com, etc...) but it seemed to already be being used here so I am just "t4l". I am 21, married, I have a dog, a saab, a volvo, and finally a lexus! I have been registered on CL for a while now, but I didnt own a Lexus, So I mostly trolled the classifieds. Recently I was able to actually start searching for the car I wanted.
I found a 1997 RSP/blk sc300 na-t (which was my dream combo I thought Id never be able to get one due to the rarity of this combo). You all might know it better as AKA PACO's old car. We drove down to South carolina just before christmas to pick it up and I cant wait to make it to the next level! I have alot of things that I need/want to do to the car but I will cover that in a project thread which I will start in the next few days. There will probably not be any good pics of the car until spring since it is snowing like hell here and the car is not leaving the garage.
Anyways, Glad to be here!!

Hello
Thought I would say Hi to the forums (if it really matters my name is Sean). Just bought my '98 SC300 on Wednesday. Always loved these cars and finally pulled the trigger to pick one up when i was looking to get rid of my truck. Few little things to take care of with her but all in all a good pick up.Looking forward to doing little mods here and there.
Totally different beast than what I am used to. Have been building and tuning cars since the mid 90's (before I had a license). Mainly muscle cars and and a slew of 2nd gen CRX's. Going to try and keep it tame on this one. Mostly a lot of exterior with some mild bolt on's (exhaust yadda yadda). Already has plenty of power for my current needs so mainly going to refine it instead of building it up.
So, Hello to the forums. Looking forward to digging through for all of the little tips and tricks with these cars.
Small aside, going from gutted race cars and a 4x4 pick up with no options other that A/C, having power and heated everything is quite damn nice.

its a love it or hate it
Wuttup used the site a few years back when I got my automatic 1992 sc300. Been unemployed for a while but I just finished school n got a job so I'm lookin to continue.
It's got espelir springs, tokico shocks, a ****ty custom cat-back exhaust using crush bent piping and magnaflow resonators, some cheapo hundred dollar wheels, and a ragged (for a lexus) interior.
This is my first car and I love it. The organic body type and effortless flow really capture my interest.
I plan to get a 97+ front bumper, flat black paintjob, and debadge for starters.
Deep dish 5 spoke wheels, something like 18x8 and 18x9. Low pro tires slightly stretched.
Rip out the backseats and fabricate an assembly that will hold my bmx securely.
A stock exhaust with an electric cutout.
Eventually I hope to do a 5 speed swap. Dreamin of NA-T but that's unlikely.
About 139k miles on her. Not sure if I want to sell it and try to find a 97+ 5 speed to start with. It might be cheaper but they're so hard to find.

Hi everyone!
Its been a dream of mine to own an SC400 for a long time. Finally the right deal came through at the right time... I was looking for a project car. The SC has always made me look. Such a timeless body from an era I wish Toyota could return to.
Purchased a 1995 SC400 thats pearl white from its original owner for $1500. This was his daily driver back/forth to Kansas City and it has 180k on the clock. I was pretty amazed at the window sticker he still had, $54k ... honestly had no idea they were that much.
I've looked at a few over the years and while I don't mind a project/clean up, I DO NOT deal with rust. This car has zero rust that I could detect over or under so I hopped on the deal.
No immediate plans except to clean, polish/detail and do general maintenance. I wouldn't say he neglected the car, but its been ignored for a while. Beyond that I'd like to accomplish a manual transmission swap and see where that takes me.
No pics really right now, its just sitting in my shop.
Thanks for reading.

Hello, Club Lexus
Hello everyone, my name is Deouan and I just picked up a 1992 Lexus SC300 5spd! I have a truck and wanted a second car to satisfy my inner Lewis Hamilton. The car is in decent condition and I'm want to make sure it's mechanically sound before I start to do anything extra.
I'm happy to be aboard!
