Remove the stock free-air sub, remove the metal plate behind the back seats, and lastly lots of sound dampening material: Dynamat, Brown Bread, etc...

Some tuning tricks: play with the Q, crossover points, crossover slope, NF level, etc....

So trunk rattling is not normal? I get the same thing when I turn my bass up (on stock headunit) any higher than 3/4 and that seems unusual.

don't worry, you are not alone. I got a kicker 800.4 amp and 2 kicker comp vr's. My trunk rattles like theres a massive gathering of elephants in there. I already did the removing stock sub and that metal plate. How much extra weight would the dynamat be? Also whats the price range on that sucker? Where do I get that dampering carpet at?

I ordered brown bead @ http://www.b-quiet.com. At the web site your can request a sample of all the different variations that they sell. I suggest you do this, since it appears that weight is a factor. I personally choose 70sq ft brown bead since it was the thickest and have read that its much better than dynamat extreme not to mention that sq ft wise it cheaper than dynamat extreme. Now with 70 sq ft I was able to cover the complete trunk, top of the rear deck, and both driver/passenger doors.

oh, I found the package that was used to send brown bead. 70 sq ft = 19 lbs

did it completely remove the trunk rattle? I checked out the site, what does the spray on stuff do?

Is FATMAT any good? I see on Ebay 100sqft for about $130 shipped while the 70 sqft of Brownbread is $150 free shipping????
