Default another sc down

well crap happens and it happened to me yesterday.

I was on my way home early sunday morning from a friends house. I came around a corner when a dog ran out in front of me and instead of plowing through it i swerved and lost control.

my front passenger fender took out a speed limit sign, and my pass rear qtr panel partially took out a chain link fence. I came out nearly scratch free

After we got the car out of the ditch we threw the spare on the rear and i drove it home.

Im looking for a new body to put my drivetrain in so all you guys in texas keep a look out for me!
heres my wtb thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...300-400-a.html

and the pics:

From the looks of that tank it could have been way worse. Glad you got out unhurt.

all that for a dog you should of ran him over you would be cleaning him off your bumper instead of redoing your body.. hope you get everything fixed!

When I was a kid, my granddad used to tell me always, to never swerve out of way for animals or even a person when worst come to worse. It might sound remorseless, but next time you do that, you might not be so lucky. (Knock on wood.) And also, pedestrian safety design of cars were tested on front impacts. I'm happy to hear you're okay though.

I probably should have hit the dog, but hindsight is 20/20. I have a soft spot for dogs being a dog owner. it is what it is though

ya once you get into the rear qtr panel that bad your looking at close to 3k minimum in body work, its also already been repaired once on that side too. I have liability only, but if i had full coverage insurance would total it. I can find another car thats running for that much or not much more and with better paint.

and thanks everyone for the words of encouragement

here's a couple more pics

that pic of the rear qtr doesnt really show how bad it is
