Still going strong and always ready for a new road trip adventure! Enjoy, Barbary! When I'm back out on that coast I need to make Monument Valley a stop in my SC!

Yeah, my 93 SC300 5 speed has only 50,384 miles and I do understand that I have not been using this great car nearly enough.

But my time is opening up, I am driving my black beauty more now and I have started some upgrades finally. Life is good. These are beautiful cars and are meant to be driven and enjoyed!

I really like the 300k stories btw - they show the amazing quality baked into these cars, which were derived from the first gen LS400 and good breeding shows!

You have a nice stable of Lexus cars Thomas - my dream garage would add an LC500.

Thomas and Jim,
I think you guys are missing the point. IMHO the point is, these cars were made to be driven! I mean the speedo says 160. How many street production cars were ever built w 160 mph? OK don't tell me, but you get the picture. Just did 3000 miles in 2 weeks. I drive the Hell out of it, the harder I drive It the better it runs. I take it out there were there is no traffic, no speed limits and just drive. To me the V8 is the ultimate Hi Way Cruiser . (Those Corbeau's really pay for themselves on these long trips)

Go ahead guys. The ones that have had a good life, just don't ever break: Happy Drivin

Oh no, I get the point and I totally agree with you. My car has not been driven nearly enough.

I have just had some tough times with so much of my time eaten up by work and life that there was no time to drive and enjoy my SC. That situation has improved for me now though and I am driving it a lot more these days, although still not as much as I should. I have taken some fairly long trips in mine so I know what great road cars they are, but I just didn't drive it as a daily driver for most of the time I have had it.

Mine has had a good life and I swear that it drives like the day I first got it. I will make that a goal to get my mileage up where it belongs and enjoy my SC to the fullest.
