Me: no, its a 92 sc400..
I had the same reaction seeing the first SC my first time.. and it was 2007 when i saw my brothers SC....

I get the people who ask if I blended two cars together. Or if I tell them it's a Lexus, I've gotten folks who say
"Any idiot can glue a name badge on the back of a car."
Or my personal favorite, "Lexus doesn't make coupes! And they sure as hell don't make sportscars!"

I hear this ALL THE TIME!
Them: Hey what color is that?
Me: Lexus calls it glacier frost
Them: What is that?
Me: It's a pearl color change type paint, I call it ice.
Them: Is it custom? How much did you pay for it?
Me: No, like I said, Lexus calls it Glacier frost.
Them: Is it just for this model?
Me: No, Lexus used it on several models.
Them: What year is your car?
Me: 2007.
Them: What! It looks brand new!
What kinda wheels are those?
Me: MC3
After that many questions, I leave. I guess I wouldn't mind it sometimes but I get it all the time. Lately I get my gas at a spot where no one talks much. I go out of my way to get gas there. Cuts down on the questions big time.
In the end, I realize this comes with the territory. Hey, I ask guys questions about their car too. Maybe they think mine are dumb.

Lol love the "is it a 240" or "skyline" comment, got them offen since I owned a soarer RHD!
if they ask me what car it is, I said,
Me - a toyota soarer..

They think I've put the steering on that side and don't understand why I've done that. After saying it came from japan.. still don't believe me. RHD cars exist in other country of this earth you know!?.. still don't believe me and get a complete check out during 1h... damn!
