Timing belt tensioner bracket :(
Hi guys, I am pretty much stumped. Been trying to figure out why I keep breaking these things. I came from a DSM background so these cars are still a little new to me.
I just broke my 3rd on last night in less then 700 miles of driving since replacing it. I did some research and usually these only break (rarely) on high rpm/high hp motors.
I have an SC300 with a 2JZGTE and 6265. My redline is only 7800rpm and I am only running around 17psi. Not too sure this falls into the catagory of high HP or high rpm so I am a bit stumped. Last one broke at WOT ~5K rpm. I knew right away what broke and shut the car down.
Thank god this is a non interference motor.
At this point I am looking into using a "billet" version of this as they seem a lot stronger without any of the casting flaws. But I sincerely dont understand whats causing these to fail. Cam gear's are stock, crank pully is stock, pretty much the entire longblock uses stock oem parts. I dont think I am making enough power to break these things. Anyone have any experience in how to diagnose this issue? They all seem to split in the same area. Any help would be appreciated.

engine pic?
is your belt routine correct?
is your belt the rite length?
you may have something else locking up, but i will bet it is a couple of things contributing to this
i have one from my ge for 20$ plus shipping if you want it to last over and or expirement with
