Default Shaving off Mileage, Now seeking Opinion(Lots of Pics)

Hey guys i'm finally pretty much done shaving off the mileage with the guidance of my experienced grandpa. All i have to do is polish/wax the lower half and paint the spoiler in order to be done with cosmetics. Next step is buying wheels. I'm having trouble finding wide wheels at a good price. And I have no specific set i'm looking for besides G35 staggered or TT staggered. I don't make much money i'm 18 so i'm aiming for a price range of 1000 or under. Anyone got any recommendations for this car? I put pics really showing the offsets of my current wheels and in my opinion it's not too great. Also the size is just horrible lol. Someone recommend wide wheels pleaseeee and tell me what you think about the car how it is so far. Thanks for looking

check out some of the mustang wheels on sites like americanmuscle.com or ebay, you'll find cheap wheels with good offsets for SC's and supras and are pretty wide. a couple different styles availiable as well.
good luck

Your SC is in great shape. Btw, your current wheels create an illusion of having large brake rotors when it's really the stock set.

Anyways, G35 wheels are also popular choice for budget oriented set up. Offsets are not very aggressive so there's no need to modify/roll fenders.

Looks like you and your grandpa have done a great job of reconditioning, nice work!

I'm just curious if he asked you what the shocker sticker on your sunroof was about, lol.

Wow that SC is in great shape considering the mileage! I love the Red on Black exterior interior set up! How'd you get that mileage up there? That's at least a '98 right? My '95 is a daily driven and it's just about to hit 170K... Don't worry about the mileage, the important thing is the engine is still in good running condition...

Actually i have a sc300, those rotors are slightly larger because they came off my grandpa's 400. He currently has supra TT brakes on his. And I know i've been searching for the G35 locally but no luck with the staggered 19s.

I mean making it look newer haha. My parents bought it for me with 177,000 miles at $4,400.

Yeah my grandpa is a pro, he seriously changed my outlook on cars

I'm just curious if he asked you what the shocker sticker on your sunroof was about, lol.
No he didn't but my grandma said it was 'cute.' LOL She didn't realize what it was. It makes me feel immature so i'll probably take it off soon.

try looking on www.zilvia.net, a lot of nicely priced wheels in sizes that are applicable to SC's on there.

Nice car BTW

You and your grandpa did a good job.

As far as wider wheels go, You might be able to find a cheap set of OEM IS350 wheels, XXR's, TSW's, or Rotas cheaply on the Club Lexus wheel and classifieds forum. Another good set of wheels to look at would be a set of MB Battles from MB Motoring. Here is a link to their site so you check out their selection: http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/

nope. 1998-2000 SC300 use same rotors as the SC400.

Find a set of Lexus rims like the IS250 or 350 ones. Putting Nissan parts on a Lexus would be tacky.
