well im sick of the flat black emblems on my car so i want something that is gunna make people look twice i have a 96 RJP sc3 and i was thinking of takata green, neon orange or neone green. also kind of want to break away from the chrome/gold stuff too. so has anyone painted their emblems a crazy color and what type of paint did u use.

i guess if you really really wanted to, you could buff it back down to nickle plating, dip it in a dark soda, and add an electrical current. There you go, now you have the multi-colored oil look. I don't remember what they did exactly, but i remember watching someone do this in Chem.

momma always said! lol reminds me of the waterboy

ill have to look up more info on that soda idea that sounds pretty neat.

i had gold emblems on my car but thye are faded otherwise im sure id still be rocking those. i disagree with the cheap remark though i think its personalized more then just a chrome or gold emblem and going against the grain sometimes is needed.

neon emblems will look incredibly out of place on a mostly stock car.
