So true too. Most Vette enthusiasts are 45 to 65. It's the automotive Viagra for middle aged men.

Unhappy

I just got my issue of Super Street Magazine in the mail today. My mom saw the article and offered me $5,000 for my modded SC! They should have put the price range from $12,000 to $20,000 like the NA Supra.

I hope this article does more good than harm. I really don't want to see the legendary SC become the next Civic or 240sx.

your kidding right? its been main stream for a while. Just look at all the new "drift" build threads going on. good news is people will sell and go back to a 240 once they realize the work it takes to get a SC to get good angle that you can just go out and buy on a 240.

I like the fact that they mentioned the best year to mod was 92-95 year models.. Not so much the price of the car.

Only true car enthusiast know what the sc is, the lines, beauty and potential appeal to certain people like us on this forum. I Dont think it will become the next civic or 240, people were saying that 6+ years ago of course you get your bad apples in every bunch.

I wholeheartedly agree!

It won't become the next Civic/240 for a long while at least...You'll know if it has gotten to that point when you start seeing like 7 or 9 of 'em (all somewhat modded) all at once at mixed car meets in Iowa,Oklahoma or Wisconsin...And so far, I haven't seen more than 2 (3 if I'm lucky) at a "typical" mixed car meet here in Southern California.

why are people panicking?? so what super st had our car featured. The world isn't going to end. idk why people are comparing the 240 to the sc anyway?? the 240 is a beast in it's own right. the sc is more of a different class. i have both and you can't reaqlly classify the 2. my sc will be more of my midlife crisis car. and my rb will maintain it's track/race role(daily driver for now).

You guys are worring about nothing. what is really killing the value of your car is KELLY BLUE BOOK!!!

Lol I hope you're not referring to the thread some guys made a while ago about a local car meet here in Wisconsin. Basically you are saying it's ricey to organize car meets? What's wrong if you see a meet of 7-9 SCs? Or a meet of 7-9 Supras.... or a meet of 7-9 VW turd vans? I don't see your logic in that at all.

Care to explain?

I bet you they know what a civic or a 240 is, just not the sc.
this is what i love about our cars, their so unique, i live in alberta, there are 2 other soarers in my town witch are my buddys, and whenever i eye someone else up in a sc they are always a older person, and at school, no one has any idea what my car is, i think being unique is one of the best things from these cars.

Agreed on the KBB and NADA kills the value of any car and people think they'll get your modded car for the price these web sites say your vehicle is worth.
