Still bringing the mechanicals up to par on OLE BLUE. she's a 96 SC400. That all comes first! I have started on the body restoration also. I've got some ideas of my own for body mods (mild), but have enjoyed looking @ all these for some ideas also. She's the only one in the county & has nothing else to compare herself with & my mechanic wishes I'd quit bringing my exotic Jap-junk to him when I need rack time. LOL. I told him to get used to it cause she'll be around for quite some time.(just rebushed rear suspension & new hub bearings) When I find that 5 year old to show me how to post pics there will be ones from start to finish. GOTTA LUV EM!
I am about to add 97+ side skirts on my 92 SC. I noticed that if I remove the existing moulding at the bottom of the door, there will be a gap not to mention unsightly holes where the moulding was fastened to. So I am going to just leave the moulding on the door and remove the ones by the wheel wells. Question is, will the side skirts clear the door moulding? And how will it look?
