Buy a daily driver....gas ain't cheap.
Fix what needs to be fixed.
Or keep on saving up.

I would get coilovers and wheels, but if the car has other problems then you should fix it.

save up $6000 and then spend $3000 this way you still have money saved..

then I will do maintenance.. if you are going to do coilovers, I strongly recommend installing new LCA's front and rear, new outer tie rods and end links, steering rack bushing kit.. This way once you are lowered, the new stuff will hold up. The old bushings won't hold up to the stress due to age. Then do, new ignition components, like spark plugs and wire set. A new water pump etc if necessary.

you can always remove the mufflers on the car for a decent sounding exhaust for temporary..

He'd be lucky to get the full swap done for that, let alone have any extra. Even if he did it himself.

keep it simple man, tint+wheels+hid's, maybe coils if your willing to suffer the consequences, no need to spend a fortune on these cars, they look good stock otherwise you'll find yourself in a money pit, extra money should be invested towards real potential assets not cars
