it depends really, $3000 is ALOT of money to spend on a car to make it look nice.

This is what i would do if it was a daily driver and nuthing else. Personally for me, since I'm a paint junkie, I would get my whole car compounded and buffed to get that new car shine and do the headlights as well to bring em back to life. that way i can have atleast a CLEAN car even if its not modded or whatever. Than I would fix what I NEED to fix on the car, for example if it had any CEL or other ripped driver seat, AC compressor, burnt needles, radio issues or steering tilt even to get the car back to 100%. Than I would change the spark plugs an wires, cap an rotor, trans fluid and differential oil.

Now to the fun stuff, Wheels an tires. IS350 wheels with some nice profile tires will give you a clean look for a very reasonable price and they're not hard to find at all. HID's would come next as I got mine for $45 bucks from DDM tuning and cant tell you how pleased I am with the results with lifetime warrany. Tints would follow but not super dark as this is the daily driver an we dont want to be harassed with popo. Lastly, I would take care of the stock suspension and replace the shocks, struts, bushings etc to bring that quality back. Forget the coilovers, too pricey if your balling on a budget an looking to get the drop. Its gonna cause more problems if your on old suspension anyway. I believe thats about 3000 dollars. all rough estimates

Compound/Buffing : $350
Miscellaneous problems : $300-600
Spark plugs, wires, rotor/cap + labor : $250
Trans & Differential Fluid : $150
Wheels + Tires : $750
HID's : $50
Tints : $150
New Suspension : $800

Just did a similar job on my Soarer ahead of a 2000 mile trip to France....

* new radiator before old one blows up (with Toyota Red)
* new serpentine belt bearings & belt
* HID's so I can see where I'm going at night
* oil & filter change
* power steering fluid change
* new gearbox mount
* wash, polish & Optiseal
* new stereo with fitting kit
* new wheels & tyres from a Lexus is220 sport
* lowered & 4 wheel alignment
* new o2 sensors (3-wire to replace my 1-wire)

I didn't spend anywhere near $3000 though

You would be the last person to give advice on what to do with money. You ruined your SC300 and probably ruined the Supra you don't own.
