if i can get both, that would be great. If someone could post pics of 275+/30/19's on the rear of a sc would be really helpful.

275 is way to much bro will look retarded I promise I have 275/35/18 and tire is to wide and I am running 10 rims. You need to stretch it. I don't think you will find a pic of it due to poor fitment. You need to run a 265 max!

Thats weird i got 285's on my 19x10 rears with no probs. well actually when i had the car a little too lowered it would rub so i could only do about a one inch drop. but i like the look of my steam rollers. if the contruction guys need someone to help even out the pavement/ashpalt they can give me a call.

but in reality it was too fat. they rub if you don't roll them. its been scary at times when i hit a turn too fast cus you hear a nasty rub back there and all i think is there goes my $200 tires.. i'm gonna roll rears just cus i'm a big fat tire fan.

all depends on your offsets of the wheel, the higher the offset the wbigger tire you can put on there, the lower the smaller the tire you have to put on there to make the wheel fit

judging by the lip of your wheels imma say those are 30 range offset wheels you might be able to get away with a 285 the biggest

265/35/19 on a 10.5 inch wheel with a 26 offset, this was the biggest i could get to fit stocked body without having to flare the rear fender. the rear fender is rolled flat and slightly pulled probably 5 or 7 mm, sitting on coilovers and the rear tires are tucking a lil

Umm do you know what the offset of a wheel is? What you just said makes no sense. The offset is just how far the inside of the rim is from the center of the wheel so how does that affect the way a the tire will look? It will affect the fit on how big you can go due to the fender size! But not the look!

Your offset makes 275 too wide on a 10" wheel, based on your pics you need to run 265 or lower. If you have a 10" wheel with high offset like in 40's and up you can run a lot bigger tire.

I think those tires you used are just ugly *** tires to be honest, but that's my opinion.

On another note:
Maybe we should change our descriptions from "poor fitment" to "fitment that I don't like" because having tires fit the wheel width (aka non-stretched) is the only true way that a particular fitment can be described as good. Stretched tires are, by original definition of fit, poorly fitted. I suppose it is like guys on steroids wearing small shirts for that stretched look. However, we could call it bad fitment and bad could be slang for good as it was in the 80/90's. Perhaps that fact the "fitment" is not even a real word means that anything goes. Therefore no truth can be declared for such a "word".

MKIVS374 - the offsets on your wheels are clearly much lower than the OPs and the tires you showed (even the 275s) were not correctly fitted as BartleDoo correctly said. The 265s worked for you to be able to barely squeeze a wheel of the wrong offset for its width for your car by using an incorrectly sized tire, but literally none of what you did with your setup applies here.

Dude the offset don't matter are you guys stupid? the offset don't chage the tire and the way it looks on a rim. Those were just on there for winter I am running a 265/30/18 now in a Yokahama Advan A048. Those tires were on my MKIV. Anyways the offset is how far the rim is from the center of the wheel. Mine are -5. The offset makes no difference in the way the tire looks and thats what a 275 will look like on a 10" wheel thats why I posted that. Now OP run a 255 stretch and it will look great 265 will look ok. If Advan A048 came in a 255 fitment I would have them. You guys are missing the point. Now the offset matters on the way the wheel sits under the wheel well and how the tire will rub so you run a stretch tire. To all the Hellaflush kids on here that don't understand wider tire for better traction as well. Stretch tires look go no practical use tho and my car is not vip so I want traction anyways. Use over looks!!!!
