Default 275 35 18's or 285 30 18'

Which would be a better fit and look?
My rear rims are 18x10 +40's, my fronts are 18x9 +24's with 235 40 18's
2000 SC300 lowered ~2in no fender mods, but im willing to roll my rear fenders. I did search through the forum but didnt exactly see what I was looking for. I admit, that I didnt read every page of the never ending archieve of the tire and fitment guide.
Thanx for your help

I am going with Nankangs, best bang for the buck. I wont need performance tires until decide which way I want to go in terms of making more hp

Well the 285/30 has too much of a sidewall trade off versus the 275/35 to be worth it. I would go with a 295/30 or a 305 if you're willing to roll your fenders a bit (barely- I fit 315s falken azenis with a +42 offset with no rubbing and no rolling, but a slight roll would be good insurance.

295/30/18 is also a good option...... from experience nankangs are garbage.

try some Accelera or hankook V12's in the rear(best bang for your buck in the market now)....Im not sure if they make those sizes though.

you are better of with 235 or 245 series in the front....IMO it just doesnt look right with 225's in front.

285/30-18 tires would reduce the overall diameter of your tires by about 4% (over 1"). This would affect your drivetrain ratio, suspension, as well as the overall appearance of your car. I'd keep it as close to stock size as possible.

^ yeah that was my point about the sidewall loss. Either 275/35 or 295/30. For your front go with nothing smaller than a 235/40/18. My supra combo is a 18x9 with a 245/40/18 and a 18x10.5 with a 315/30/18. Looks great, handles better

+1 275/35 or 295/30 as Klaus said. 285/30/18 is an odd size for the SC.
315's would be sick, but only if you have the power to use em.
