92 SC 400 wont start. Lights come on but wont crank up. Please Help
Hi. First off just wanted to say hello and thanks in advance for any feedback. I am new to the forum, but not new to Lexus. My 92 SC 400 will not start or crank. There is no sound when I turn the ignition, but all of the lights still come on. I tried giving it a jump but that did not help. I was told that there is a factory kill switch on the 92's. I cant help but wonder if I accidentally triggered it. I am the 4th owner of this car. I was not aware that there was an alarm on the car because I never heard it and the key that I have, has a battery in it and just an unlock button on the side of the key. After the car did not start, later that night for the first time, I noticed a red light on the dash. One that looks like a normal alarm active light. (Please forgive my lack in auto terminology)
Do any of you know where the kill switch is located or how to reset it? I want to try that before I look into having the starter replaced. Also this has happened several times before but usually it would start up after a few minutes. Prior to this time here. The longest it has ever taken was an hour.
Please help

Try this...
1. Open car door and try to turn key on. If nothing proceed.
2. Lock and unlock door from the outside with the key not the button.
3. Lock door again and unlock the door (turn key twice to the left on the unlock). Enter the car
4. Try and turn her over.
its happened a couple of times with me usually the above works.
