Well assembly should be complete by this week. Unfortunately i went shopping again so the Dyno day has been pushed back again.

SR built a soardrft supercar-interior.jpg

Although i did the SEM spray to my current interior i could not beat the price with install. This was less than $300 and replaces everything except my Recaro front seats. It also comes with a supra 3 spoke steering wheel which i will need to get rid of soon for my little taste of heaven steering wheel.

Stay Tuned......

Final stages of the build. It has been a long road, but looking great. I have sent off the other parts for polishing since we are waiting for a few cars to move. my radiator is a mk4 supra megan racing radiator that was given to me when i bought my roof wing.

then finally we greased up the head

so sexy i cant wait to put it to use.

as it stands now til my polised parts come in

i really am not feeling this kit but when its free you cant complain. i hope the paint and install come along with it i have another kit i would prefer but i keep hearing that duraflex is the way to go. anyone selling the grill and lights for this?

yes that is the fast and furious car collecting dust.

my original plan was to put the car together with OEM parts. as i tore the motor down i realized the price difference and said why not spend the few pennies more for something that can take rough driving. I hope to get this car on the road this weekend good luck with that one.

because my goals are modest (450 range) i kept my fuel at:
USDM 550cc injectors
Blitz RFit for my fuel
usdm supra twin turbo fuel pump
fuel regulator
stock ECU
upgraded fuel lines

I want the car to be a relaible street strip car and hope that it meets those requirements. STAY TUNED.........

I wish I could but time is not on my side. I let SRmotorcars in gardena do the build for me since they showed similar passion for my car. They not only broke down different options, but at the end of the day this fit my budget and goals like a glove.

They were willing to let me wrench it when I have time which really is cool.

So i was at home and going through my garage and looky looky what i found.

SR built a soardrft supercar-inspection2.jpg

Now i am back to being confused. CL i need your help. Which one would you choose?

Name: 92_sc300vspeedfront_1.jpg

Size: 7.5 KB

I thought to myself why not have one for track and one for street. After much thought i remembered how much stuff i have to take off and put back on before and after track days (seats, panels, rims, etc.......) So i am in a heated debate with myself.

V-speed pros:
nice kit
easy to replace when it cracks
hugs the front
duraflex

V-speed cons:
everyone has this kit
buying the lights and grill is more than the bumper itself

Inspection Pros:
no one in the states rocks this bumper (i think )
nice kit
hugs the front
no need to buy lights since i already have them

Inspection Cons:
cant replace the bumper that easy
keeps the older sc look
its not duraflex

CL feel free to speak your mind on these options Now these are my only two choices since they are both sitting at my house. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Go with the Inspection bumper for the uniqueness!

I haven't tried to install the duraflex bumper yet. I hope it is easy. The inspection bumper fits like a glove. The downside is the lower indicator lights fit odd. Forgot to mention this in my pros and cons
