Wink Pegleg burnouts

How bad are they? I did my first pegleg burnout in this car and I must say fun as hell with an open exhaust but I'm curious how bad is it and what parts receive the most torture? its only 200hp or so. Im assuming ofcourse the brakes, tranny and clutch and on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is the strain on these parts? If it makes a difference, I have sway bars and strut bar with KYB GR'2. Thanks for any input. If I ever do another one I'll make a video for fun.

Ashtray-

P.S. How often do you burnout and for how long?

It would be a 10 for sure! That is very bad on your bevel gears in the diff which are spinning at a very high rate of speed so not good at all

did a few when I first got the car (brake stand, same thing, right?), on a set of trash tires. did one in place for about 5 seconds. little later, did a running one for 10-15 feet, for about the same time.
got both tires smoking, so it's not as bad as a single tire smoke show. not doing any more until I get a lsd and manual trans (which will be a while).

So an LSD reduces the harm that burnouts cause? And single tire fires are really really bad? thats what mine did : (

Yup lsd will solve the problem if you must do a burn out and if it's an auto trans NEVER let the trans shift while doing a burnout as that will toast the 2nd sprag real quick.

One tire fire isn't any worse for the car than a burnout with a welded diff or lsd, except for the fact that one tire will obviously be more worn than the one not spinning.

If you understand how an open diff works then you would not have just made that comment.

TRAC might make a difference. Turn it off, slam the break and then slam the gas. Is it a 300 or 400?

One Tire Fires should be banned from the hooning handbook. Go get an LSD and do much more than just burnouts.
