That would help with gas mileage but to me any less aggressive gearing than I already have on NA power would hurt the car's fun factor. It has adequate acceleration and marginally acceptable gas mileage (for a DD) with the factory 4.08 ratio but I would not want more aggressive gearing.
I'd only consider a 3.76 gearset with a GTE/R154 swap to make up for the power deficit.
