Arrow soarer window trim vs sc300 trim...

ok guys so i was wondering if anybody knows where i can get the trim or the window with the trim in the pic with the broken window... i know toyota doesn't have it...

If nobody knows that is there a way to get rid of the chrome off the window trim of the sc300 to make it look like the soarer one. ill post pics to show the differences..

from looking at it and what i understand the trim is attached to the window permanantly am i wrong? if so how do you remove it... and if you look at the pic of my car at the door side of the trim it is snapped. but i could tig weld it carefully back together if could get it off and placed on the new window...

and looks completely different to me from chrome to the flat black.. the shape and all of how it sticks out and what not

Just go with some vinyl and your problems will be solved. My buddy 2.5tsoarer did this for me. I believe he used like 6 pre cut pieces specifically made for the SC in order to make it happen. I'm happy with it. Can't even tell where the vinyl pieces meet either.

Pretty sure on the soarer its just the normal chrome piece that is painted or has some vinyl on it. I know on my soarer some of the black trim is peeling off and underneath it is chrome.

I replaced the Black trim from my Soarer for the chrome trim, of a luxury V8 model.

The door window trims are easy enough to remove once you have removed the interior door trims.
When it comes to removing the quarter window trims, that's when the prying starts with a flat head screwdriver from the outside, so that the trim can lift out from the clips that bound it.

I typed a quick guide - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...dow-trims.html
