my attempt to duplicate fireball mega look
#31
dont get me wrong, if you can swing it go for it. Sure its much better built quality then what i can make. It came down to this for me, spend $850 on a set of mufflers that look great or spend the $850 on something i can not duplicate like OLT gauges, radio, climate and 3 spoke wheel. Like i said before i got money but i dont have it overflowing out of my vallet to drop that kind of cash on the exhaust. Your car looks great btw

I'm really surprised other people haven't tried this yet.
Figure out the degree that the Mega tips are angled at and the tip diameter.
Angle cut the tip to duplicate the degree or slant that the Mega tips have.
Weld over the outlet of the polished muffler and fit it to the bumper accordingly.
While I'm sure the end product won't look as clean, it definitely beats wasting $900 in end mufflers.

these obx mufflers are about as close as you can get to a mega look, unfortenatly they arent offset/offset and still the body isnt as big, but you can still use the offset side to exit the car. The muffler cannot be longer then 14" body or you wont be able to fit a 12" TIP anything shorter then that just dosent look right. The tips are also a 15 degree slash cut when you tilt them up 15 degrees they look straight. Problem is finding a 4.5" rolled edge tip with 15 degree slash cut...i couldnt find it.
