Cool SC300 oem headlight, polish before and after.

I got these headlights local, at a very good price and they where yellowish and with scratches, so before install them on my car I decide to polish them and took pics of it, I used 3m for sanding and polish headlight that any auto store should have the results see them for yourself in the pics.

How I got them.

First sanding disc, you want them like this all uniform, i try to go slowly with the drill, not fast sanding. I take my time until most of the deep scratches came out.

second disc starts to leave the surface very smooth, also I went slow and uniform on the head lights.

this the 3rd disc is like sponge with leather material it has to be wet to be able to do the job, after this the headlights become more clearer.

final step is foam with plastic polish wax, I did 2 waxes and they came out pretty good except one of them had like a little plastic inside and I suppose with the vibration of the car it bounce inside the headlight and make some little dents inside but to be able to take them out I have to do the oven trick to separate the housing and I am lazy to do that . below pics show scratches gone and how clear they are now, and with the HIDs they look awesome.

one polish and the other noot.

the other headlight polish

some close up's

The 3M kits do work. I have litterally purcased about 5 of them, and used them all! They are so awesome!
