Exclamation Help! Sc300 trac control!!!

hey guys
im having trouble smoging my car that needs to be done asap!
the reason is that i dont have the traction control switch for on/off on my car
i need to turn the traction control off! so i can smog it
i have a 1992 sc300
my engine has the TRAC plate on and when i start up the car i see the "traction off" light go on, along with all the other cluster lights , n then shuts off
i opened up the shift bezel and i see a plug where some switch goes connected
its weird though because i cant find the button anywhere around the car or even the hole in the shift bezel

is there a little pedal dance i can do to shut the traction control off or anything i can do?
i already pulled the trac fuse and nothin happened i still have traction control

i just need it off for a bit

thanks!

ps. ive only seen a traction button on the bezel of my old 93 sc400
this is weird for lexus to not have me a shut on and off switch on my car

How does traction control affect your smog inspection?

wat
no.
traction control doesn't do anything to the wheels, it throttles down the engine.

are they idiots, or is this real? do they stick the car on a roller when they put it on the sniffer?
advice: move from **** state.
next option: unplug the tc motor on the throttle body.
I recommend #1, it's bad for your brain. and your car.

i was thinking the same because i know it just holds the engine back
but i guess these guys are stupid because they dont know and tried telling me all this jumbo stuff that had me thinking
your right california is super strict with smog now adays and its getting hard to live here

when they stick the car into the roller
and they accelerate it, after a certain speed the front wheels kinda lock in and it seems like they are trying to spin, we put stoppers on the front wheels but it just seems like the front is trying to spin
thats why they are telling me to take traction control off

what can the solution be?
btw its an automatic 1992 sc300

Take it to a different station. Most likely your car isn't equipped with traction control. Run your VIn through the the link below, and it will tell you if came with traction control. Mine shows N/A under equipment.

Yeaaaaah, that's one special TRAC system you've got there . . . if it can suddenly make your car AWD !
